What happens if an employer does not follow the rules?

If an employer is found to be violating fair and healthy work regulations, the Netherlands Labor Authority will impose suitable sanctions. The nature of the violation and the potential for its recurrence play a crucial role in determining the appropriate sanction.

What is a Risk Inventory and Evaluation (RI&E)?

In a Risk Inventory and Evaluation (RI&E), you record the health and safety risks posed by the activities within your company. It is your responsibility to examine how many employees are exposed to a specific risk and over what period. In addition, you analyze the likelihood of certain risks occurring.

Where and how long is the SCC certificate valid?

Your SCC Certificate remains valid for 10 years, and certificates from the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany are mutually recognized.

What is the minimum age to obtain your SCC?

There is no minimum age requirement for participating in an SCC course or exam.

When will you receive the results of the SCC exam?

As of January 1, 2011, on-the-spot review of SCC exams at exam sites is no longer permitted. Results are no longer provided immediately after the exam; instead, electronic correction is conducted. Once VCANederland receives the results, certificates are sent. Please note that this process may take up to 2 weeks.
